a list of doujins and other pieces of art. for music preferences, see ao3 link. imo "good" means convincing proportions, which covers everything from cave drawings to a tenth-grader's art project; "engaging" is personal preference. i prefer thick, smooth, well-defined lines and certain types of clear tone. some things i like aren't mentioned here, such as unadon's hentai fics or the "moritarium" mv featuring riamu and anzu (meh song, cool video). works are listed in no particular order, and not by artist because i rarely enjoy artists' other works. i recommend you use mangadex or e-hentai, though this was written in august 2024 and works may be removed from those "normal" channels by the time you read this.
i don't actually rate as s-tier gigantomaxia or berserk (by the legendary miura). didn't like vagabond either. as i said, i like clean lines. i really like suicide girl, though the plot feels a bit contrived. fate/redline is pretty good—but only the mesugaki. the first two chapters of sekigan no shoujo are interesting but there's no guarantee the rest of the series will be any good. well, baki is nice. the osage-chan 4koma (yes, by the same artist of "lagtrain") is peak, check out the pixiv too (27327959). tenkaichi's musashi design is peak but it's all downhill from there. assassine's pretty interesting—the hellsing style is super unique—but too sharp for me. i like honn noshiori's "露出狂が異世界転生する" (about the exhibitionist getting isekai'ed) because i really like sketches. sakata haruki's "兄に土下座で懇願されて断れなかった妹ちゃん" is probably the only work with "wrong" proportions that i like—despite the fmc having a relatively large forehead, it isn't overdone and looks cute rather than outright distorted. mashu's "battle maiden and battle goto", maybe? (on nhentai because there's rape.) if you liked that and/or berserk, you'll probably like imizu's magnum koishi (also on nhentai because there's rape), though i personally don't.
also, "When I Went to Another World, My Little Sister Was Already Reigning as the Demon Lord". literally the only good isekai because it focuses on comedy (see blog for my thoughts on isekai).

Orin-chan!", because they both have power bottoms. yuruchin kyouso's "Musuko Papa, Mama Musume" because it showed how slurred speech could be sexy, even though i despise the theme of abuse and false shelter throughout their works. harusame's reimu/aunn work is PEAK. so is kito sakeru's kokkoro-chan work ("Kokkoro-chan no Torotoro Osouji") and pecorine work ("Pecorine And The Shota Kishi-kun"). tamagoro's mao friends is alright. aya sacchou's djeeta x sara work is really good. um... minakami rin's "Assistant no Senkawa-san ni Yasashiku Fudeoroshi Play Shite Morau Hon" in which chihiro looks all smug, because chihiro is best idol (obviously coming from somebody who hasn't played the games). keiji-kurobi's mayoi works, to represent all the good yaoi works out there. syouji's NHK work because it would actually fit into the canon. torimogura's "Kinkyuu Jitai na Shinyuu-chan" because it's CUTE. tel's fate works (circle: coffee maker), which are peak in their own nice, vanilla (ish) way. yassy's "futarikiri no orusuban" because it's the only yassy work i like (relatively vanilla) but still has the artist's characteristic intensity. maybe haguruma's garden poolside because emotionless sex. yamada rimuru's ryuu dom blowjob, 3 pages, from the "pixiv various" (on nhentai). i think that's about it. oh, but i'll include the first instalment of succubus stayed life to represent all the orthodox hentai works.
